This is a series of discovery sessions where we'll do a deep dive into your business and map out the specific scope of your project through a well-developed series of meetings, interactions, and questions based on your business. You’ll benefit from our 20+ years of experience building successful websites and our dedication to staying on top of our industry's best practices.
The purpose of discovery is to ensure the project plan will serve your goals, whether it's increasing revenue, donations, email signups, or creating efficiencies to save you time. We want your investment in the final project to be well utilized and for you to see a return on your investment.
When we’re done, you’ll receive a written Business Discovery of the goals for your website and a plan for achieving them. You might think of this as hiring an architect to draw up the plans for a building. Once you have those plans and estimates, you can better decide how and when to execute the project.
You own the final Business Discovery at the end of these sessions and reviews. We can then execute the plan for you or not. Our goal is to bring clarity to this decision, but there’s no obligation on your part either way.
A design methodology is a systematic approach to creating a website, from planning and research to design, development, and testing. A well-defined methodology helps ensure that all critical aspects of your website design process are considered and that the result is a high-quality website that meets the needs of your target audience and supports your business goals.
This step involves defining the goals and objectives of the website, researching your target audience, and conducting a business discovery to determine the best approach for your design.
During this step, the structure and organization of your website are defined, including the navigation, content hierarchy, and site map.
During this stage, the visual design of your website is created, including the layout, color scheme, and typography. A working prototype of the website is also developed to test the user experience and functionality.
In this stage, your website is built, including coding and integrating any necessary features and functionality.
Your website is thoroughly tested to ensure that it functions properly, is user-friendly, and meets all design and technical requirements.
Once your website has been thoroughly tested, and any necessary revisions have been made, it can be launched. Ongoing maintenance, including regular updates and security measures, is also essential to ensure the longevity and continued success of the website.
Over the next few weeks, we'll teach you how to manage and edit your new website and help solve any issues you might have.
